Bon Jour!
Ok I thought I knew a thing or two about combustion chamber design, squish bands and so on and now I found this on a DT 125 R I'm fixing up for a friend:

Here from another angle:

Now this is an engine with 6.5:1 compression and 28 hp, ypvs and so on. So not exactly a slug
How can this be without a squish band and what is that ridge on the edge of the c. chamber ?
How does this work ,please anyone that knows will please explain?
Thank you very much.
