Le Team Relentless rafle la mise dans cette première manche SBK avec la victoire de Ian Lowry et la seconde place d' Alastair Seeley, Cody Nally complète le podium. Le leader du Championnat Kirk Jamison ne termine pas la course.

Sam Lowes remporte cette course devant Glen Irwin, le coéquipier de William Dunlop, et le champion du British STK600 Keith Farmer. Ben Wilson ne participe , finalement pas aux courses de ce week-end et à été remplacé par le jeune Danny Buchan(que je ne connais pas ), Il finit au pied du podium en 4eme position juste devant les frères Dunlop. Le leader du championnat, Alistair Kirk termine à la 9eme Position.

Ian Lowry sur la GSXR N°5 du team Relentless TAS Suzuki est le "grand vainqueur" de la journée , Il remporte les 2 courses SBK et la "Sunflower Race"(course avec les 600 et les 1000) !



Alastair Seeley , tous comme Jack kennedy ont chuté dans le dernier tour de la course 1 SS alors qu'ils étaient en baston avec Lowes pour la victoire. Ils ont tous 2 déclarés forfait pour les autres courses, (clavicule HS pour kennedy).

A noter que le tous jeune Jérémy Mc Williams roulaient en Supertwins , avec à la clé une 3eme place en première manche et tous simplement la victoire dans la deuxième course.

Alastair seeley : "I finished 2nd in the first Superbike race following a tussle with Ian Lowry and unfortunately in the first Supersport race Jack Kennedy highsided and I couldnt avoid his bike and came off heavily myself. I hurt my back and suffered concussion and so was unable to race for the rest of the day."

voila une bonne nouvelle , Ian Hutchinson continue de progresser , apres avoir subi sa 18eme opération au début du mois d'octobre , il a repris le guidon de sa yamaha R1 version SBK (il avait fait des test, il y a peu sur la STK)à mallory park, il y a quelques jours afin d'effectuer quelques tours pour voir comment tous cela évolue. Visiblement tous ce passe bien meme si la moto a subi quelques modifications pour s'adapter à son handicap au pied. Il a bouclé 30 tours ,sans probleme, voila de quoi rassurer tous le monde avant sa participation au GP de Macau le 19 Novembre prochain.

Le GP de Macao a lieu Samedi , et avec du beau monde , je vous remets la liste des pilotes attendus :

En attendant Macao, Michael Dunlop s est essayé au side car la semaine dernière, une bonne expérience visiblement puisqu'une participation au TT en 2012 dans cette catégorie n est pas exclue !!!!






Michael Dunlop:

"That was awesome, really, really enjoyable, Before the start, I thought it was going to be hard work, hard to drive, but it wasn't at all."

"I would love to win a Superbike TT in the afternoon and then go out and win a sidecar race in the evening - that would be really cool.

"I've a lot to consider because I'm at the top of my game as a solo rider - I'm not saying yes but I'm definitely not ruling it out.

D'aprés ce qu'il dit il veut participer en moto et en side , dure semaine entre les essais 2 et 3 roues !
Si ça se fait il n'est pas dans le plus mauvais team car , sur la photo le 3 ème homme est Nick crowe 5 fois vaiqueur en siedcar team manager malgré lui ,car depuis le TT 2009 il est amputé de l'avant bras droit et sa jambe droite est trés abimée aussi suite au crash du 1 er tour de la 2éme course .

.

Au lieu de faire les Courses SBK , STK et SS, il ferait SBK et Side , cela semble réalisable et surtout un challenge intéréssant

Paul Bird , à propose de Michael Dunlop :
"Having won the race for the past three years, it's a shame Stuart couldn't defend his title but in his absence, we're pretty well placed to challenge for the win I feel. Conor is ready to step up to the plate again after his big TT crash and has the experience round here and Jeremy is capable of a podium for sure, as he proved last year," said Bird.

"Michael won't take long to learn the place and he's not come here to make up the numbers so I think the established riders might be in for a bit of a surprise."

Jeremy Toye :
"Just being able to stay with those guys at a road race means a lot: it's like having them come over and being competitive at supercross. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen and that's just what I'm gonna do.

"I'm going for the top step. With the amount of talent going over this year it's not gonna be easy, but I am very focused and riding well, so I'm ready. I will be riding my dirt-bike until then. After that I will just let it happen.”



Ian Hutchinson : "Obviously, I'd like to say I am going to go and win it as it is the only international road race I haven't won so I'd like to take the chequered flag but that would be pushing reality a bit to be fair. I have felt more and more at home on the Swan Yamaha as the amount of laps increased and I felt properly on the pace at Donington last time out," said Hutchinson, who landed at Macau on Monday.

"I'm definitely looking forward to being back racing again. I've missed so much this year because of the injury and it feels weird for my first race of 2011 to be everyone else's last. If I can get a good result for the team then I will be happy and it sets me up nicely for 2012."

Michael Rutter :
“It’s a unique race and you never know till you get out on track, there are some good riders competing but I hope to do well and winning would be a bonus. I am now totally recovered from the injuries acquired at Cadwell Park earlier in the BSB season and am 100% fighting fit and ready to go.”

Martin jessop :
Jessopp said "It is the world's most dangerous motorcycle race and is something you hav...e definitely got to prepare well for. It is just walls and Armco everywhere, there are no run offs and we are brushing our heads and leathers against the wall at 130MPH-plus.

"You reach more than 200MPH down the straights there so it is definitely somewhere you have got to treat with a lot of respect. At the same time you need to have a safe result and not stuff it in the barrier."


william Dunlop :
"My dad's win was a bit before my time but from what I hear it was quite a special victory for him and rated as one of the highlights of his career," said William.

"From the moment our entries were confirmed Michael and I have received a lot of requests from the local media so the Dunlop name seems to be quite big over there.

"I've always wanted to do a bit of travelling and received a message on Facebook asking if I'd like to do the race this year and I said yes.

"My dad was never too keen on us racing over there but there are risks involved in racing at every road or street style circuit.

"I don't know the course too well but I'm not feeling under any pressure and I'll treat it with respect.

"I'm just going out to enjoy myself but if all goes well there isn't any reason why I shouldn't be in the top 10."


Gary Johnson :

“I've had some brilliant offers, but this is an even better option than Crescent because TAS know Macau and already have data,” he explained. “I've been quick around Macau on a bike that couldn't get the power down coming out of the slower corners, so I'm looking forward to the job this year on a bike that is capable of winning.”

james Hillier :
“The bike is being prepared by Bournemouth Kawasaki to suit the nature of the Macau circuit and hotter temperatures. It's their first visit to the event but my third and after not finishing last year due to a tyre issue, I'm determined to achieve a strong result this year.
We will be running Pirellis, which I have used all year and have the bike working well on. It's hard to practice the track from home but I've been watching videos of laps so I can be strong out the box.”


Stephen Thompson :
“I wasn't going up until the last minute because I was supposed to be riding a Kawasaki for Nick Morgan, but he pulled out and that left me without a bike,” Thompson said.

But then a guy who owns a motorbike-themed bar over in Macau, Ciaran Carruthers, pulled me out of a hole and I think he's giving John McGuinness a bit of sponsorship too. I met him last year and he's really into his bikes so I managed to get something sorted out. It's the Honda that Gary Johnson rode to third at the TT and I tested it at Kirkistown when I came back from holiday,” added Thompson.

I've a few handling issues with it and I'm 80 per cent comfortable on it, but there was no point trying to sort it out here because Macau is such a unique circuit, so we'll see how it goes when we get there. “It's a totally different feeling racing at Macau than it is anywhere else - it's a scary place to race around and people think it's only a holiday race - which it is to an extent - but when you're out there racing you've got to ride hard to get a result. It's always an enjoyable experience going to Macau but at the same time you're glad when you're on the plane back home.”

Michael Rutter confirme son retour en forme, "l'ancien" fait la nique à tous le monde , Jeremy Toye confirme sa belle prestation de l'année dernière (il avait fini 3eme)
, mais la bonne nouvelle est la 3eme place d 'Hutchinson , c'est tout simplement incroyable
La "Dunlop connection" découvre le circuit et le top 10 final envisagé n'est pas impossible , affaire à suivre dans moins d' 1 heure pour la première manche qualificative ici

La seance qualificative est reportée à demain à cause de d'une météo capricieuse

Pour "compenser" l 'annulation de la première séance qualificative(45mn ) aujourd'hui, les pilotes verront la séance de demain rallongée de....15 minutes. Départ donc à 7h15 au lieu de 7h30 , on se croirait en VMA lors d'un week-end de promosport

Cela ne s'arrange pas , dommage

Un petit podium pour le retour d'Hutchy ??

Oui ça serai bien, surtout après son effroyable accident.

Pourquoi Guy Martin ne participe pas à Macao?

Faute de grive, je mange du merle
WTCC sur Eurosport avec la diffusion de la première manche avec souhaitons le, une bonne place pour Yvan Muller.
Puis, plus tard, la seconde manche qui le consacrera champion du monde pour la 3ème fois ?
Allez, Vas-y mon gars !
C'est pas si mauvais que ça le merle, enfin c'est un bon apéritif ...

Pourquoi Eurosport ne diffuse t-til pas, après le WTCC, le GP Moto ?
Ils doivent avoir les droits TV aussi non spécifiquement sur le Grand Prix de Macau ?

Oui aucune idée concernant la non diffusion de la course , même un différé aurait été le bienvenu. Tant pis je vais être obligé de la regarder en Tcheque


7eme victoire de Rutter dans cette épreuve donc , devant son coéquipier et devant Hutchy , à qui cela doit faire bien plaisir de remonter sur le podium après cette longue absence. Les frangins Dunlop juste à la porte du Top10 , ce qui pour une première et vu les conditions, n'est pas si mal !

Reste à savoir maintenant si l'année prochaine cette course sera toujours d'actualité ou pas !!

Je regardais les qualifs et comme la definition n'est pas top je me demande...je trouve que les bulles sont tres hautes, c'est une deformation de l'image ou ils ne peuvent pas se mettre bien à plat??
