I hope that there is a general guideline to determine the general shape of a combustion chamber irrelevant of the port angles and port timing. But given the same parameters, compression and rpm of intended use, is there any guideline to follow what chamber shape would work best, i.e. toroid or hemi or top hat? Also, is there a rule of thumb that determines the angle leading into the combustion chamber coming off the squish band? Would a 90 degree angle favor a higher or lower rpm range to a 60 degree angle for instance and will this affect one combustion chamber shape more than another?
