“I made a bit of a slow start and maybe used the wrong rear tyre so when I saw P4, I decided it was time to up the ante,” said Dunlop, speaking after the race. “I realised it was James who was leading at the pit stop and fair play to him he was setting a good pace so I had a real good go on lap three which gave me the gap I needed. I rolled it off on the last lap and saved what we had to bring it home. “The chassis was moving around a bit to begin with and the bike was a bit nervous, which isn’t usually like a 600 but once I had that cushion, I was extra careful with the gear changes and it’s great to be back on the top step. I’ve been off the boil on the 600s for a couple of years so it makes up for the disappointment of the Superbike race. “We nearly made the impossible possible yesterday and we honestly don’t know yet what the problem was. The bike was great straight out the blocks but it just stopped on the second lap. “After yesterday’s race, I realised how comfortable the podium seats were in the press conference so I thought I’d come back today,” the 30-year old joked afterwards. “The weather wasn’t great overnight and I was cautious on the first lap, more cautious than normal, but as soon as I felt comfortable with the track, I had a real good go and everything went well,” he said after the race. “Like I’ve said before, I’m not a 600cc rider and only started riding one in 2015 whilst I’ve also been trying to ride it like a 1000, which doesn’t work. I was steady away to begin with, paying note to the marshals flags in terms of the damp patches and once I was happy with where they were I got stuck in. “The Triumph was working mega and starting at number 10 is a good position for me as there’s not much traffic. I set my fastest ever 600cc lap on the last lap so getting a podium is a habit I want to keep. “I tried to forget what happened in the Superbike race and with the weather forecast being what it was, I didn’t think we’d be racing today so probably slept better than I normally would,” said Hillier, speaking after the race. “Today was a new day and we’d found a really good setting with the bike during practice, hardly having to make any changes at all, but it was a bit tricky on the first lap as you couldn’t be sure where the damp patches were. “The marshals did a great job with the flags but you were riding a bit blind and I perhaps played it a bit too safe through the damp stuff. I tried to ride as clever as possible and it’s always nice to jump on the 600 after wrestiling the Superbike for six laps. Your eyeballs are constantly spinning around so I really enjoyed today’s race. “I was obviously disappointed after what happened yesterday but it was out of our hands and once Michael started to edge away, I looked after the bike on the final lap. The wind was strong over the Mountain but I felt comfortable and wanted to be on the podium again. C'est en tout cas ce qu'il dit!
Par contre, pour Honda, ça le fait pas trop: accélérateur bloqué (une habitude pourrait on dire), boîte déverrouillante, ...

Le TT est quand meme particulier au niveau condition de course. Ce sont les meme gars qui s'occuppent des motos du BSB ou tout va bien.

Comme le dit Mig,ici il y a des choses qui cassent qui ne cassent nulle part ailleurs...

Bon,ce matin après le decalage du aux ondées,il y eut un creneau impeccable pour le sdeux courses SSP et sides,et ensuite tout est redevenu normal,c'est adire il pleut a nouveau et ca continue donc tout le reste des essais prévus a eté annulé.

Nous etions a Kirkmikael dans le deuxieme virage a droite qui se prend a environ 240 km/h en 600.

Pour poster ca se passe maintenant a Laxey chez Patsy, le soir en rentrant. Auparavant il y avait chez elle une wifi pourrie et nous descendions a la Railway Station avec les computers sous le bras ou il y a un pub avec une bonne wifi;Quand Patsy s'est aperçu de notre manège elle a pris un abonnement 4G et maintenant ca bombarde!
